  Extremely unprofessional staff! I called last Friday to get an appointment for my teenage daughter who has been experiencing some issues. The person that answered the phone took our personal information and insurance information. My daughter would have been a new patient here at the recommendation of her pediatrician. I was told a triage nurse would call me to get her in as soon as possible. I waited all day and never heard from them. I called again today (Monday) and spoke to the same person that answered on Friday. She told me it sounded familiar but there was no record of a call requested from triage. I was once again told that someone would call me. (Keep in mind that my daughter has been in pain for days!) I waited over 3 hours and did not receive a call. I decided to call back again. They "checked into it" and said that someone had tried to call me 3 times but got a message saying the caller was not accepting calls (implying my phone service was shut off). I asked what number they were calling and of course the had a number transposed. I asked them to look in the computer at what she had put in on Friday and the number there was correct. They never took the time to verify it. They also argued with me that I had not called Friday because the note said I called this morning. They show no record of my call and basically called me a liar except for the girl that answered who remembered my call. I was finally given a direct number for the nurses triage line. I called and encountered another rude woman who said someone would call me back. I put my foot down and told her I was not getting off the phone until I had an appointment for my daughter. After some back and forth and a long wait, I finally spoke to a nurse who then informed me that they would not schedule an appointment for my CHILD WHO IS IN PAIN until I go to the hospital to sign a release for the films they took when we were there a month ago. I did sign a release when I was there and her pediatrician has the records. There is no reason I should have to drive back to the hospital to sign another release. This is 2016. Why can't a release be faxed? Why can't this miserable woman at the very least put her on the schedule while I make the trek back downtown to the hospital to get this month old image? Why wouldn't they want a new image anyway? I am appalled at the rudeness and lack of compassion I received and we never even went there in person. I refuse to take my child to this disgraceful practice even though they were recommended by her pediatrician. After reading these reviews it appears I'm not the only one with a negative opinion. I will definitely be giving my feedback to her pediatrician and suggesting that they stop recommending this practice. If I could have given a ZERO rating, I would have.
